Basic Description: The Black and Tan Coonhound is first a working dog, a trail and tree hound, capable of working in most any kind of weather.
Used mainly for trailing and treeing raccoon, the Black and Tan Coonhound runs his game entirely by scent. He is also used to hunt bear, deer,
mountain lion, and other big game. They are outgoing and friendly.
